UK students' leadership tendencies 2014, by school type This 2014 survey inquires current private and state school students in the UK about how comfortable they feel with the idea of leading others. Comparing the state and private school students' answers, the state school students showed a general tendency towards agreement with the statement above. A majority of 53 percent said they liked leading others to a certain extent and therefore only partially agreed with the survey statement which is also applicable to the private school students. The latter had about 10 percent more students saying they liked leading others than the state school students.
