Consumer trust in energy suppliers resolving complaints in the UK 2014

This statistic shows how consumers rate energy suppliers in terms of resolving complaints fairly the United Kingdom (UK) in 2014. 46 percent of consumers trusted their supplier to resolve complaints fairly, while 12 percent did not. According to the report, those responding with "trust" to the survey question gave a score of 7 to 10, with "neither trust nor distrust" a score of 4 to 6 and with "distrust" a score of 0 to 3. The mean score among respondents amounted to 6.20, which shows the overall trust for energy suppliers in the UK to resolve complaints fairly is between the "neither trust nor distrust" and "trust" range for consumers.

Base included all those responsible for paying energy bills who had mains electricity, knew their electricity supplier or, in the case of absense of an electricity supplier or if they did not know who their electricity supplier was, those who had mains gas and knew who their gas supplier was.
