* The original survey question was worded as follows: "How likely would you be to recommend [named energy supplier] to friends, relatives or colleagues? Please answer on a scale of 0-10 where 0 means you would definitely not recommend them and 10 means you would definitely recommend them. (%)"
Base included all those responsible for paying energy bills who had mains electricity, knew their electricity supplier or, in the case of absense of an electricity supplier or if they did not know who their electricity supplier was, those who had mains gas and knew who their gas supplier was.
