Annual household electricity consumption in England 2011 This statistic shows annual electricity consumption in England per household in 2011. On average all households consumed 3,567 kilowatt-hours that year. Terraced houses, both medium or large and ones with an end terrace used up over 4,000 kilowatt-hours. Also, single non-pensioner households tended to use more electricity in a year than a household with children.
