This statistic shows the number of licensed heavy goods vehicles in the East Midlands, Great Britain, from 1995 to 2017, in thousand vehicles. The number of vehicles was increasing steadily between 1997 and 2007 when it peaked at 51 thousand vehicles. After that the number of licensed HGVs began to drop until 2010 after which the decrease stopped and the numbers rose again, showing a generally increasing trend until 2017, when 50.6 thousand vehicles were reached again.
