The statistic shows the household waste volumes from household recycling in the East Midlands from 2000 to 2019. With an obvious increase in volume, recycling gets more and more common in the East Midlands. Waste volumes through household recycling started out at 277 thousand in 2000/2001, increasing in particular between 2003/2004 and 2007/2008. Volumes peaked in 2016/17 at 977 thousand metric tons and amounted to 912 thousand metric tons the following year.
