Residual household waste in England per household 2000-2018

This statistic shows the annual residual household waste volumes per household in England from 2000 to 2018. Volumes decreased gradually during this time period, signaling an increase in the amounts of recycled household waste. Until 2004 waste volumes per household amounted to more than 900 tons, then dropped annually until recording a volume of 551 kilograms of waste per household produced in 2012/2013. Over the following years, there was an annual increase, before dropping again in 2016/2017.
