Share of private equity funds raised in the UK and other European countries 2016
This statistic illustrates the shares of private equity funds raised in the United Kingdom and on other significant European equity markets as of 2016. The United Kingdom's equity market is the most developed outside of United States. As of 2016, a total of 56 percent of European private equity funds were raised on the UK market. Private equity funds based in France accounted for 19 percent of funds raised in Europe.
