This statistic ranks the number of road vehicle offenses in England and Wales in 2016 which ended with guilty verdicts, fixed penalties and written warnings. Speed limit offenses constituted the vast majority of punished offenses with more than eight times the number of license, insurance and record keeping offenses. In 2014 there were six thousand cases of vehicle theft with a guilty verdict.
