The statistic presents the market share of the leading massively multiplayer online games worldwide from January to September 2014. The leading MMO title during this period was Tencent/Riot Games' "League of Legends", with an 11.9 percent market share worldwide. Not far behind was another favorite in the genre, "World of Warcraft" with a 9.1 percent market share, partly owing to the 7.4 million reported active subscribers in the same period.
