This statistic shows the share of grocery shoppers always or sometimes checking for the country of origin on food they buy in Great Britain in 2014, by generation. According to the survey, 80 percent of millennial consumers (aged 22 to 30) claimed to check to some extent where the food they buy is sourced from. Older generations were slightly less likely to check, with 76 percent of Generation X (aged 31 to 47) consumers and 73 percent of baby boomers (aged 48 to 60) claiming to do so.
