Scotland: local perception of neighborhood by urban rural classification 2017 This statistic shows the proportion of local residents who felt that their neighborhood was a very good place to live in Scotland in 2017, by the urban or rural nature of that local area. Residents living in remote rural areas were most satisfied. Residents of urban areas were the least satisfied, as only 53 percent of those surveyed from such areas rated their neighborhood as very good.
