Greece: manufacturing of beer enterprises 2019

The number of enterprises in the beer manufacturing industry in Greece saw an addition of 5 enterprises in 2019. Therefore, the number of enterprises in Greece reached a peak in 2019 with 58 enterprises. This could be explained by the fact that Eurostat reports a break in time series for 2018. Notably, the number of enterprises in this industry has been, with the exception of 2011, continuously increasing over the last years.

In accordance with EU REGULATION (EC) No 250/2009 only companies are included here which were active during at least a part of the reference period. It also includes local units (branches) which do not constitute a separate legal entity and which are dependent on foreign enterprises.
