Italy: manufacture of underwear industry enterprises 2019

In 2019, the number of enterprises in the underwear manufacturing industry in Italy decreased by 243 enterprises since 2018. This marks the lowest number of enterprises in this industry during the observed period. The recent development could be explained by the fact that Eurostat reports a break in time series for 2017. Notably, the number of enterprises in this industry is continuously decreasing over the last years.

According to Eurostat, this includes all companies that were active during at least a part of the reference period.
