Netherlands: manufacture of leather industry enterprises 2020

The number of enterprises in the leather and related products manufacturing industry in the Netherlands increased by 36 enterprises (+5.14 percent) in 2020 in comparison to the previous year. With 736 enterprises, the number of enterprises thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. Notably, the number of enterprises in this industry continuously increased over the last years.
In accordance with EU REGULATION (EC) No 250/2009 only companies are included here which were active during at least a part of the reference period. It also includes local units (branches) which do not constitute a separate legal entity and which are dependent on foreign enterprises.
