Distribution of U.S. oncology practices by size and setting 2016
This survey displays the size of oncology practices in the United States based on the number of physicians and the practice setting in 2016. Some 41 percent of hospital or health system owned oncology practices had only between one and five physicians. The size and demographic of medical professionals in oncology plays a significant role in the accessibility and quality of cancer care for patients in the United States.
