This statistic shows age distribution of retail spend per capita in Germany in 2013 and with a forecast for 2018. In 2013, shoppers aged 45 to 64 made up almost half of retail spending per capita. However in 2018 it is predicted that senior shoppers (65 and over) will make up a larger share, with older shoppers spending more per person than younger shoppers.
