This statistic shows the perception of the euro currency among the population of the eurozone countries (euro area) as of October 2017, by occupation. 70 percent of employees reported that the euro is a good thing for their country. In comparison, 47 percent of manual workers agreed with that statement.

As of October 2015, the euro is the official currency of 19 Member States of the EU: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. These countries are collectively known as the euro area.
Percentages do not add to 100 percent. Other answers given but not displayed include 'Can't decide' and 'Don't know'.
