Euro coins ease of use opinions in eurozone 2003-2019

This statistic illustrates the general perception of the ease of use of euro coins amongst the population of all 19 euro area (eurozone) countries from 2011 to 2019. It can be seen that the opinion of the use of euro coins for members of the population in euro area countries remained relatively stable throughout the six years under observation. The share of people stating that euro coins are easy to distinguish and handle increased with some fluctuation between 71 percent and 83 percent during this period, reaching it's maximum of 83 percent in 2019. The share of the population stating that euro coins were difficult to distinguish and handle stood at 15 percent as of 2019.
