This statistic presents the preferred bank transaction methods in the United States in 2017, by transaction type. During the survey period, it was found that 52 percent of the respondents preferred to deposit a check in person with a bank teller. Also 23 percent of the respondents preferred this channel of communication with bank when reporting a lost or stolen card.
