This statistic presents information on the likeliness of spending and savings in the United States in the six months following the time of the survey, June 2014, by gender. It was found that 58 percent of the female respondents admitted that they were likely to reduce spending on eating out at restaurants, compared to 55 of the male respondents who were planning to do the same.
