Bronze and silver health plans cost sharing for primary care in the U.S. 2014 This statistic shows the cost sharing of primary care provider (PCP) visits for bronze and silver health care plans in the United States as of 2014. Some 71 percent of primary care visits within silver plans were charged through co-payments. A co-payment refers to a fixed amount that is paid when one receives a covered service. A coinsurance refers to the insured's share of covered health care service costs, as a percent of the allowed amount for the service.
