The graph shows the average number of first-run movies seen in a movie theater in the United States between Summer 2013 and 2014, broken down by age. It was found that, on average, consumers aged 35 to 49 saw five newly released productions in a cinema. In that time the average cost of a movie ticket slightly increased from 8.13 U.S. dollars to 8.17 U.S. dollars.
