This statistic shows the percentage of households receiving benefits in the different regions of the United Kingdom (UK) in fiscal year 2017/18. In the North East, 60 percent of households received benefits, whereas London - at 42 percent - was the only region in the country where less than half of the population received benefits of some kind.
