Generation of renewable electricity in Scotland 2016-2019

The vast majority of renewable electricity produced in Scotland was from wind energy, totaling 22.5 terawatt hours of electricity in 2019. By comparison, solar photovoltaic (PV) energy had accounted for 331.6 gigawatt hours of electricity that year.
