Wales: number of renewable energy sites 2019

Solar photovoltaic had by far the highest number of sites generating electricity from renewable sources in the Wales, with 55,626 sites in 2019. By comparison, there were 711 sites generating electricity from wind power. However, Wales' electricity generation from wind power was higher than solar PV electricity generation, with 5.11 and 1.02 terawatt hours, respectively.
