Manufacture of basic metals: enterprises 2011-2020

In 2020, the number of enterprises in the basic metals manufacturing industry in Italy remained nearly unchanged at around 3,218 enterprises. In comparison to 2019, the number of enterprises decreased not significantly by 34 enterprises (-1.05 percent).
According to Eurostat, this includes all companies that were active during at least a part of the reference period.
