This statistic shows the pupil to teacher ratio in nursery schools in Northern Ireland from academic year 2004/2005 to 2016/2017. The ratio remained relatively stable, peaking in 2006/2007 at 25.9 pupils per teacher, before dropping to 25.1 pupils per teacher a year later.

Pupil figures are taken from the Annual Schools’ Census conducted in annually in October.
