Distribution of moviegoers in France 2012-2022, by city size
In 2023, around 17 percent of moviegoers were living in the region of Paris, its lowest value yet over the period considered. That value has been fluctuating over the past decade and has reached its peak in 2015 with a total of 23.8 percent.
