The production of bicycle parts in the United Kingdom spiked during the COVID-19 pandemic, as demand for bicycles grew. Between 2020 and 2021, the production value grew by around 65 percent from 33.3 million pounds to around 54.9 million pounds. In 2022 production dropped off slightly to 50.9 million pounds.
