According to the German Advertising Industry Association (ZAW), ascertainable advertising media include the following: daily newspapers, television, advertising papers, consumer magazines, directory media, specialist magazines, outdoor advertising, radio, online and mobile advertising, weekly and Sunday newspapers, movie theaters and newspaper supplements.
Figures were partly derived from earlier publications.
* The figure for 2017 was retroactively adjusted in 2018. This is due to a change of survey method for ad revenues of professional magazines. Prior year figures are just limitedly comparable.
