This statistic illustrates the distribution of counterfeit euro banknotes that were withdrawn from circulation in Europe from the first half of 2015 to the second half of 2019, broken down by denomination. In the second half of 2019, twenty euro and fifty euro notes were the most counterfeited banknotes, accounting for over 70 percent of all counterfeit notes withdrawn.
