UK: decumulation & pensions related complaints 2022

The number of complaints to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regarding the decumulation and pension products and services in the United Kingdom (UK) fluctuated significantly between the first half of 2010 and the second half of 2022. The lowest amount of complaints relating to decumulation and pension were recorded in the second half of 2017 when there were only around 46,000 complaints. In the second half of 2022, the FCA received nearly 73,000 customer complaints about pension and retirement-related products.
