This statistic displays the different travel methods employed when researching holiday travel information in the European Union (EU) in 2014, by gender. According to the statistic from the European Commission, 68 percent of male and 65 percent of female respondents have used the Internet when researching travel information. Going online was the most preferred method of researching information, followed by doing so through someone you know.
