This statistic shows the safety issues experienced on holiday in the European Union (EU) in paid accommodation in 2014. Respondents came up against safety issues rarely, according to the survey. If they did, it was either food poisoning or food-related sickness for 2 percent, or an injury on accommodation grounds for 1 percent.
