The production value of the information sector in Malta saw no significant changes in 2020 in comparison to the previous year 2019 and remained at around 115.6 million euros. However, 2020 marked the second consecutive increase of the production value in this industry.
The value of production is defined by Eurostat as the amount actually produced by the unit, based on sales, including changes in stocks and the resale of goods and services.

Income and expenditure classified as financial or extra-ordinary in company accounts is excluded from production value.
Data coverage corresponds to aggregate INF of NACE Rev2.
