Penetration of daily media usage in the EU 2011-2018, by media This statistic shows the results of a survey on daily media usage in EU 28 countries from 2011 to 2018. According to the Standard Eurobarometer, television (viewed on a television set or over the internet) was the most popular medium among Europeans in 2018, with 81 percent of people watching it everyday. Internet ranked second with 66 percent of Europeans aged 15 years and older reporting to use it daily in 2018, an increase of 18 percent since 2011.
