This statistic illustrates the distribution of assets under management on the European responsible investing (RI) fund market in December 2014, 2016 and 2018. The cross-sectoral category, including all ESG funds (environmental, social and ethical together) was the largest of all in the responsible investing funds landscape in all three years during the period under observation, reaching a value of 426 billion euros of assets under management invested by cross-sectoral RI funds as of 2018. There were no assets under management invested in the ethical ESG funding category in 2018.
