Germany: manufacture of food products personnel costs 2020

In 2020, the personnel costs of the food product manufacturing industry in Germany remained nearly unchanged at around 28.4 billion euros. With a decline of 144.2 million euros (-0.51 percent), there is no significant change to 2019.
Personnel costs are made up of wages, salaries and employers' social security costs. They include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the employer, as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions.

Personnel costs also include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the unit as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions. Personnel costs are made up of wages and salaries and employers' social security costs.
