In 2010, the production value of the synthetic rubber in primary forms manufacturing industry in the United Kingdom remained nearly unchanged at around 377.8 million euros. Nevertheless, this was the first time during the observed period that the production value in this industry increased in the United Kingdom. Nevertheless, the production value has been subject to fluctuation over the observed period. The production value is defined as turnover, plus or minus the changes in stocks of finished products, work in progress and goods and services purchased for resale, minus the purchases of goods and services for resale, plus capitalized production, plus other operating income (excluding subsidies). Income and expenditure classified as financial or extra-ordinary in company accounts is excluded from production value.
