This statistic presents the share of adults, who provided financial help to their adult children and / or their aging parents in Italy and Germany as of 2014. According to the survey, that focused on intergenerational financial support shift in some of the fastest aging advanced economies of the West, approximately 60 percent of respondents gave financial help to their adult children in Italy. At the same time, 28 percent of Italian respondents financially supported their aging parents.
