This statistic presents the share of card fraud committed in Europe as of 2014, detailed for the type of merchant depending on the services offered. It was found that fraud in hotels, motels and resorts accounted for approximately six percent of the European total card fraud in that year. A further 5.9 percent of card fraud came from transactions with tour operators and travel agencies, bringing the total share of fraud committed in travel-related services to nearly 12 percent.
