European private equity experts were optimistic about the anticipated change in 2023 with regards to completed merger and acquisitions (M&A) with private equity involvement. In total, 54 percent of respondents expect an increase of some kind in 2023, while 42 percent of respondents expect a decrease. The remaining 25 percent of respondents expected no change at all.
