Social media has made its innovators rich – as of March 2015, Facebook’s founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg had a net worth of 33.4 billion U.S. dollars. Other successful social media entrepreneurs included other Facebook founders and early investors. Generating 12.47 billion U.S. dollars in revenue in 2014, Facebook is also the social network with the biggest annual revenue.
