The source added the following information: * The report is based on interviews with 11,000 consumers, conducted with private individuals in the age group 15–79 in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, constituting a representative selection from each country.
** To calculate how many consumers shop online in each market, we used Eurostat’s population statistics for 2016 as a basis. To calculate the average spend in euros, we applied the exchange rates from May 29, 2017 (last year, May 31, 2016 was used).
