Portugal insurance market: value of property claims paid 2004-2020
The total value of property claims paid on the insurance market in Portugal has fluctuated from from 2004 to 2020. The claim payments reached the value of 500 million euros in 2010. The total worth of property claims payments increased to 626 million euros in 2018, the highest value reached in this period, before falling back to 472 billion euros in 2020.
