Sweden civil engineering employees 2019

The number of employees in the civil engineering industry in Sweden decreased by 1,914 employees in 2019 in comparison to the previous year. Therefore, the number of employees declined to 23,284 employees in 2019. This decrease was preceded by an increasing number of employees in this industry.

According to Eurostat employed persons are all persons aged 15 and over who performed work, even for just one hour per week, for pay, profit or family gain during the reference week or were not at work but had a job or business from which they were temporarily absent because of, for instance, illness, holidays, industrial dispute, and education or training.
