This statistic shows the annual food and beverage away-from-home expenditure in Spain from 2009 to 2018. During the period of time under consideration, Spaniards eating-out behavior was on a downward trend since 2009, year in which the annual expenditure peaked at over 37.5 billion euros. 2014 was the year in which Spaniards least spent on dining out, but the country's expenditure initiated an upward trend in 2015 and was valued at approximately 35 billion euros in 2017.
