Annual increase in the number of card payments in the Eurozone 2010-2019
The annual rate of change in the use of card payments in the Eurozone fluctuated between 2010 to 2019. Compared to 2012, there were on average 7.5 percent more card transactions made in the Eurozone in 2013. As of 2019 there was an annual increase in the Euro area in card payments of 12.3 percent. Card payments are a vital aspect of payment methods in the Eurozone.
