French tourists' reasons not to withdraw money abroad in 2014 This statistic shows the reasons for French tourists' reluctance to withdraw the cash needed for outbound trips directly in the foreign country. It reveals that an estimated 25 percent of respondents were afraid they would not easily find an ATM abroad. Nearly 30 percent of respondents stated that they also did not want to lose time looking for one.
